Terri Long's Obituary
Terri Louise Broome Long, 58, of Cornelius, NC passed away on July 10, 2016 at her residence.
She was born on September 10, 1957 in Charlotte, NC and was the daughter of the late James Walter Broome Sr. She was a homemaker and member of Gilead ARP Church. Terri loved going to the beach, playing golf, but most of all, spending time with her grandchildren as well as all children.
She is survived by her husband, Ray Howard Long of Cornelius; mother, Dixie Briggs Broome of Cornelius, NC; three sons, James Ray Long of Cornelius, Michael Keith Long of Nashville, GA, and Benny Ray Long of Charlotte; a daughter, Yvonne Chrystal Wilkins and husband Mike of Statesville; a brother, James “Junior” Broome, Jr. of Hiddenite, NC; two sisters, Nancy Washam of Lexington, NC and Ann Broome, of Cornelius, NC; three grandchildren, Christian and Noah Wilkins of Statesville, and Adelyn Long of Cornelius.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 12, 2016, at 3:00 PM, at Gilead ARP Church in Huntersville with Rev. Robert Hunter and Rev. Joey Williams officiating. Burial will follow in church cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in church fellowship hall.
