Terry Lee Knox's Obituary
Terry Lee Knox, 60, of Cornelius, went home to be with the Lord Jesus Friday, June 30, 2017 after a year long courageous battle with lung cancer.
Terry attended 1Hope Assembly of God. He worked as a Instrumentation Calibration Specialist for 15 years at Duke Power and for 7 years at Merck Pharmaceuticals. Terry enjoyed white water rafting, camping, cars, German Shepherds, and most of all, spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Patricia Knox.
Mr. Knox is survived by his wife of 24 years, Julie Knox, their daughter, Jennifer, brother, Steve Knox (Tammie) of Cornelius, sister-in-law, Lisa Middaugh (Bob), father-in-law and mother-in-law, Lee and Marjorie Crites all of Florida, aunts, Cherie Estes, Carolyn Kee, and cousin, Karen Simpson (Joe).
The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m. with funeral services beginning at 2 p.m. Monday, July 3 at James Funeral Home of Huntersville. Committal services will follow at Bethel Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Knox Funeral Fund, BB&T, 200 N. Horner Blvd, Sanford, NC 27330. A link for donations will be posted as soon as it's available. In the meantime, donations may be mailed to the bank at the address above.
