Terry Washam's Obituary
Terry Dean “Dink” Washam, 58, of Cornelius, died October 3, 2012. He was born on November 22, 1953 in Mecklenburg County to the late Billy and Betty Reid Washam. He was proud of that fact that he built a 1923 T-Bucket Hotrod. He loved hunting deer, fishing, Nascar, his dog Ricco and most of all spending time with his beloved family and friends.
Survivors include his wife Mary Taylor Washam; son Scott Taylor of Charlotte; daughters, Dee Dee Washam of Mooresville and Jessi Taylor of Charlotte; step-mother Rita Washam of Indianland, SC; siblings Robbie Washam (Kris) of Cornelius, Carol Dunn (Danny) of Ballard, W.V., Mark Washam (Cris) of Denton, TX, Steve Brown (Peggy) of Ft. Mill, SC and Donnie Brown of Tega Cay; granddaughter Cheyanne, as well as numerous, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 Saturday, October 6, 2012 in the chapel of James Funeral Home, 10520 Arahova Drive, Huntersville, with Rev. Mark Washam and Rev. J.E. Wayland, Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends following the funeral service. Interment will be private at Bethel Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
