Theresa Wagner's Obituary
It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Theresa Ann Wagner, who left this world on March 24, 2025, at the age of 60.
Theresa was the second oldest of three girls. While her father, Frederick Wagner preceded her in death, Theresa is survived by her mother, Margaret Wagner, an older sister, Christine Chwalow nee Wagner and her husband Daniel Chwalow, a younger sister Geralyn Dooley nee Wagner and her husband George Dooley, as well as three nephews, two nieces, two great nephews and two great nieces.
Theresa enjoyed listening to music, swimming, playing cards, and playfully teasing others. She lived her life determined to do things her way. She faced life's challenges with grace and resilience, proving time and time again that nothing could break her unwavering spirit.
Theresa will be missed by her family and all who knew her. Though her presence will no longer be with us physically, her legacy of affection, independence, strength, joy, forgiveness, and innocence will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of sharing their lives with her.
A Memorial Viewing will be held Wednesday, April 2, 2025, from 4:00pm – 6:00pm at James Funeral Home, 10520 Arahova Dr., Huntersville, NC 28078. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, April 3, 2025 at 11:00 am. at St. Therese Catholic Church, 217 Brawley School Rd., Moorseville, NC 28117, followed by her interment at St. James Catholic Cemetery, 2323 Gold Hill Rd., Concord, NC 28025.
Rest in peace, Theresa. You were truly one of a kind, and we will cherish your memory forever.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the National Down Syndrome Society in Theresa’s memory.
