Thomas Mullis' Obituary
Thomas Gary Mullis, 78 of Charlotte died October 5, 2020 at Atrium-Huntersville. He was born on February 6, 1942 in Mecklenburg County to the late Alva and Collie Mullis of Mint Hill.
"Tommy", known as "Pud" by those who loved him, was a kindly man who sought out opportunities to meet and help others. Pud was a loving husband, and father to his son and step sons. He worked at Pike Electric for most of his life, but also worked at Eastern Construction Company and Krohler Furniture Company, (where he met his wife Carol). Pud was an avid fisherman and hunter. He enjoyed spending his Sunday afternoons listening to NASCAR races.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Mullis; son, Thomas Gary Mullis, Jr. of Charlotte; step-sons, Michael Habenicht of Mint Hill and Brad Habenicht of Mt. Pleasant; sister, Mary Belle Watson and four grandchildren.
His funeral service will be private for immediate family only.
