Thomas Joseph Place Sr.'s Obituary
Thomas J. Place, Sr., 94 of Huntersville died April 21, 2020. He was born on September 11, 1925 in Brooklyn, NY. Tom served in the US Army and then worked as a Teletype Operator for Merrill Lynch. He was a member of the Huntersville Lions Club and past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus and a member of the 4th degree.
He was preceded in death by his wife Virginia Place.
Survivors include his son, Thomas Place, Jr. of Huntersville; daughter, Nancy Place of Huntersville; granddaughter, Michelle Palczewski and her husband Joe and great-grandchildren Aiden and Dylan.
A private graveside will be held at Mt. Zion Community Cemetery at 2 PM Friday, April 24.
