Louie, Susan, Cyndi: I am so very sorry for your loss and mine. Thuvan was such an exceptional person. The smartest person I have ever known. She was a wizard with complex mathematical and engineering programming challenges. No one ever had to outline an issue twice with her, she understood even better than the client what needed to be done, even when it had never been done before. She perfectly, seamlessly executed the solution, every time. As you know, she was an excellent seamstress, I remember her making really cute summer dresses, no pattern required, and some very complex outfits as well. And the best cook. Her summer and spring rolls, so perfect and delicate, and that cucumber salad with the shrimp and homemade sausage. She was very generous with us at work, a great story teller, and very, very funny! Some of her zingers were so out of the blue yet spot on, just hilarious. She loved her dogs -- and all your dogs like children and shared all their little doggie idiosyncrasies, I met a few and they were just like she said they'd be. She spoke of you, your spouses and her granddaughters often. She loved you very much. I am so thankful she got to travel around with you all these last 10 years after retirement. She was elegant and beautiful and brave. I will miss her very much.
