Tricia Kay Parrett's Obituary
Tricia Kay Parrett was an incredible wife, loving mother and grandmother, caring little sister, and passionate friend who was taken too soon. After a courageous and inspiring fight against cancer, she left this world suddenly on Sunday, October 30, 2022, at the age of 52.
Tricia was born on July 6, 1970, in Kettering, Ohio to the late Dan Oaks and Patricia Adams Holloway. After graduating high school in Orlando, FL, she worked for her father’s business for over 20 years before taking over the company.
A beautiful person inside and out, Tricia lit up every room she entered and consistently made the conversation better. She had a contagious passion for life and a special love of the ocean. She enjoyed traveling, finding new adventures, making new friends, sunny days at the beach, Scuba diving, and motorcycling, but most of all she loved spending quality time with her husband, family, and friends with or without a glass of her favorite wine.
She is survived by her lifelong friend and adoring husband of 8 years, Brien Parrett. She taught him more about love and living out loud with your eyes wide open than he ever knew possible. She was also a fierce momma bear and the biggest fan of her pack of cubs: Michael, Jon, Gatlin, Cade, and Connor and one grand-cub, Jason.
A Celebration of Life will be held on November 19, 2022, from 3-5PM at the family’s home. Come as you are. Black is not necessary unless you are commemorating that it was her favorite wardrobe color. Portions of the event will also be live-streamed. Details to follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the cancer charity of your choice.
James Funeral Home, of Huntersville, is serving the family and obituary lovingly written by the family.
