Troy Anthony Haugen's Obituary
Troy Anthony Haugen, age 61, of Huntersville, passed away peacefully, on Saturday, January 10, 2026, while in the care of Via Health Partners at Levine and Dickson Hospice House in Huntersville, surrounded by his loving family. Troy was born on Wednesday, January 29, 1964, to Floyd and Rita (Bak) Haugen. Troy was married to Lala Carlos Haugen. He worked in Fleet Service with American Airlines for 31 years.
Troy was a loving husband, father brother and grandfather who loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, who always knew he had candy in his pocket for them. Troy enjoyed making those around him laugh, he was an avid fisherman at Lake Norman and was a huge Minnesota Vikings and Carolina Hurricanes fan. He and his wife Lala enjoyed traveling to beaches in Florida, Hawaii, North Carolina and South Carolina.
Troy was predeceased by his parents and his son Christopher Haugen. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Lala Haugen, his son Nicholas Haugen and his wife Julie, his daughter Alexandra Sibley, his son John Louis Haugen, his brother Scott Haugen and his wife Elaine, his sister Cherise Shulman and his grandchildren Bailey and Pyper Haugen, and Ember and Cameryn Sibley.
Services for Troy will be private and will be held at the convenience of his family.
