Uquilla T. Miller's Obituary
Uquilla Miller was born on May 22, 1990, in Charlotte, North Carolina, to her parents, Gerome and Juanita Miller. She departed this life on May 5, 2026. Uquilla matriculated through Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, where she was an honor student. She continued her education at North Carolina A&T State University in Greensboro, North Carolina, where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Nutrition.
Uquilla was employed at Cracker Barrel, where she was known and loved by many. Her coworkers described her as sweet, loving, and caring, and as someone who was always willing to offer a warm hug to anyone in need. She had a kind spirit and a gentle heart that touched the lives of those around her.
Uquilla also had a great sense of humor and a beautiful smile that would light up any room she entered. She had a way of bringing joy to others and making those around her feel welcomed, loved, and appreciated. Her warm personality and caring nature made a lasting impact on everyone who knew her.
She also had a special love for horses, which brought her joy and reflected her gentle and compassionate nature. Uquilla had a beautiful spirit and a caring personality that will be remembered by all who knew and loved her.
While employed at Cracker Barrel, she decided to further her education by enrolling in an Information Technology program with an emphasis in Cyber Security. Although she was unable to complete the program due to her untimely passing, her determination and desire to continue learning reflected her ambition and dedication.
Her sweet memories will forever be cherished by her parents, Gerome and Juanita Miller; her sister, Rosita Harris of Greensboro, North Carolina; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends who will continue to hold her memory close to their hearts.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Jermail Miller.
Her love, kindness, laughter, and beautiful spirit will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2026, 1:00 PM, at James Funeral Home of Huntersville.
