Vanessa Turner's Obituary
Vanessa Turner, age 69 of Charlotte, went to be with the lord on July 17, 2024. She was surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Charlotte to Arthur “Bud” Turner and Betty Allen.
Vanessa loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved to dance and spend time at the beach.
Vanessa was predeceased by her father. Those left to honor her memory include her mother, Betty Allen; her children, Tina Matlock (Alan) & Jeremiah Shelton (Melissa); her grandchildren, Justin Pope (Kate), Chelsea Pope, Carson Pope, Joseph Shelton, Marley Shelton & Cecilia Shelton; her great grandchildren, Oliver Pope & Iris Pope; her sister, Trena McClure (Ray); and special extended family member, Tom Matlock, as well as many other loving family members and friends.
Services will be held on Saturday, July 20, at James Funeral Home in Huntersville. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 10:00 - 11:00 AM, and the funeral will follow at 11:00 AM. The interment will be private at Pleasant Grove Memorial Park in Charlotte.
