Velma Bowyer Williams' Obituary
Velma Lee Bowyer Williams, 80, of Mount Airy, NC passed away on August 18, 2017 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC.
Mrs. Williams was born in Charleston WV, June 1, 1937. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Williams, father Bob Bowyer, mother Blanche Wheaton Bowyer and brothers Bill and Paul Bowyer.
Mrs. Williams is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Joey Seal of Mount Airy, NC. Also surviving are her sister JoAnn Dowell of Deltona, FL.; five nieces, Kathy Smith, Michelle Huggins, Taylor Huggins and Lilah Huggins of Deltona, FL., and Amanda Cross of Sanford, FL.; four nephews Billy Bowyer of Melbourne, FL, Eric Cross and Jude Cross of Sanford, Fl. and Michael Lambert of Seattle, WA; sister-in-laws, Bobbie Williams of Halliesburg, MS and Patsy Carlson of Malvern, PA; four grand-dogs, Oliver, Lil Bit, Roxie and Rocco; special close lifelong friends Murl and Sherry Mitchell of Sarasota, Fl.; family friends Susan Jarrell of Mount Airy, NC and Sandra Edwards of King, NC.
A private memorial service will be held for the family at Northlake Memorial Gardens, Huntersville, NC.
