Veronica Nikstenas' Obituary
Mrs. Veronica Ann Nikstenas, 98, of Concord, North Carolina, fell into eternal rest on April 22, 2026.
Born in Lithuania, Mrs. Nikstenas came to the United States in 1949. She later married in New York and moved with her husband, William, to Ohio, where they made their home.
Mrs. Nikstenas worked in food services for the public school system. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, spending time with her family, and offering her time and talents to religious organizations whenever they were needed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Juozas and Ona Griganavičius, and her siblings Joseph, Ona Grigonis, and Rev. John Grigonis.
Mrs. Nikstenas is survived by her three children, four grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and their families.
The family extends their sincere gratitude to the staff of Five Oaks Rehab and Care Center for the compassionate care provided during her final years.
Funeral services will be held in Cleveland, Ohio.
