Cynthia F Jones-Gibbs
Villet aka Grandma Jones is what I called her that because of her being my Children’s grandmother. The 1st time I met her I was dating Bob and I had one child. When I would go to her house she would dote on Jessica like she was her flesh and blood. I thought she was so loving and kind. I married into the Jones family which was a family full of love, I always felt like I was loved and cared about. I gave birth to two children with Bob and they all were showered with love. When Janice was born as soon as she saw her I remember her saying “She looks just like Bobbie”. When we were in New York she would buy each one the fruit of their liking. She would take them to Mc Donald’s. Villet taught me to cook Belizean food and while cooking she would give me advice on self worth and not to be okay with being not valued. To reach out for accomplish anything I chose to do and to not be afraid. She was a woman of her word through action. I remember her being 46 years old and going to Nursing school. She inspired anyone she touched. She had a wonderful sense of humor and an infectious laugh. She was always considered in my heart as my mother in law.. because she never stop treating me in any other way than her family. We will miss her but never forget the teachings, advice and love... I am thankful for Granny Graham and Granddad for raising her to be strong minded and tender in the heart.
