Vincent Nicholas Giglio,'s Obituary
Vincent Giglio, known to friends as “Vinny” entered into Heaven on Saturday, May 19, 2018 in Huntersville, North Carolina, after a long, courageous battle with heart disease. He was 68.
Vinny was a proud Italian and Native of Seneca Falls, New York, later attending Fort Lauderdale University, Florida on a full basketball scholarship and graduating with a BA in Psychology. On advice from his brother, Ralph, he moved to beautiful Southern California where he met and fell in love with Lee Ann Willenberg, got married and raised three sons while working in the field of real estate and living in the quaint town of El Segundo. He recently moved to Huntersville in September 2017.
Vinny is lovingly remembered by his wife of 38 years, Lee Ann, and his children Vinny III (Mackenzie), Darren (Kendall) and Mattie. Vinny will also be adoringly remembered by his 3 precious grandchildren, Reece, Colton and Lelaine and by his beloved sisters Toni Fleszar and Emily Giglio along with a host of nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins and sister-in-laws.
Vinny was predeceased by his brother Ralph Giglio and sister Marguerite (Sis) Larrabee.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, July 7 at 10:00am at the United Methodist Church, 540 Main Street, El Segundo, California 90245, being officiated by longtime Pastor and friend, Rob McKenna.
