"Drew Ward" was a good bud. He and Coralyn were members of the Clemmons "beach group." It was party hardy almost every weekend and each spring the group would rent a beach house with more parties, golf, swimming, and having fun. Drew had several distinctions in the group. He was famous for "just one more"-which meant he was the last one to go to bed, usually very early in the a.m. He also was the only guy who could drink a beverage while lying flat on his back. I remember the time he awakened in St. Thomas to find all of his socks. hanging on a mango tree. When he saw an attractive beach babe all he could muster was a gurgle. Wade was a very generous friend. He consistently invited us on boat trips, vacation-home outings and golf at his clubs. .All of us admired his keen mind and great sense of humor. What a guy!
