Walter Culbreth's Obituary
Walter Earl Culbreth, Jr., of Mooresville died July 21, 2025 at TerraBella. He was born on April 26, 1932 in Goldsboro, NC. He married his wife Peggy on August 30, 1953. He graduated from East Carolina University and joined the Air Force as a pilot. He served in the National Guard following the USAF. He was an insurance adjuster for many years and then started his own agency in 1972 in Florida. He retired and moved to Davidson where he enjoyed many years with wife wife Peg. They were active at Trinity Baptist Church and had many friends.
He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Peggy; sons, Craig (Patty) of St. Augstine, FL, Howard (Sherri) of Troutman; grandsons, Walter, Bradley, Jonathan, Jeremy, Josh, Todd, Keiffer and Gabriel. His son Wallie and granddaughter Brooke preceded him in death.
Memorials may be made to Trinity Baptist Church.
A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Friday, July 25 at Trinity Baptist Church. Burial will be private at Mimosa Cemetery.
