Walter Drag's Obituary
Walter Dennis Drag, 82, of Huntersville died December 24, 2021, at his home. He was born on April 11, 1939, in Chicago, IL to the late Walter and Victoria Drag.
Walter was the Vice President of Sales for the Southeastern Region of Compass Group prior to retirement, after many years of dedicated service in the industry. He was a cherished and beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Walter loved being with family and could light up any room with his witty charm. He was a man of faith and believed in working hard and enjoying life to its fullest. His devotion and love for his family and friends has created many beautiful memories that will always be celebrated and held in our hearts forever.
Walter is survived by his wife Arlene Drag; son Ronald and daughter in law Lisa Drag; daughter Desiree and son in law Jim Casey, daughter Jackie and son in law Jason Spangler, and daughter Jennifer and son in law Don Carson; daughter in law Christina Drag; siblings, Robert Drag and Darlene Drag; and 15 grandchildren. His son Mark Drag preceded him in death and has now been reunited with Walter as father and son.
A memorial mass to celebrate his life will be held at 10:30 AM Friday, January 7th at St. Mark Catholic Church. An inurnment will follow at Northlake Memorial.
