Wayne Lawrence Gregory's Obituary
Wayne L. Gregory, 76, of Cornelius died Monday, December 25, 2023 at his home. He was born on March 28, 1947 in Bay Shore, NY to the late Evelyn Palmer Cherubini.
Mr. Gregory is survived by his spouse of 51 years, Evelyn, son, Wayne John Gregory, daughter-in-law, Jessi, daughter, Erin Marchbanks., son-in-law, David Marchbanks, twin granddaughters; Hannah and Evelyn, sisters-in-law; Patricia Mott of Cornelius and Joan O’Donoghue of New York, along with nieces and nephews.
Wayne served in the United States Army. Worked as a farm mechanic for 35yrs in New York after retirement moved to Cornelius, NC where he resided for 15 yrs.
A memorial service will be held at 2 PM Saturday, December 30 at James Funeral Home with visitation to follow.
