Love you brother! Your the best. See ya soon one day.
I'm living in Jacksonville, Florida and a fellow former co-worker just told me the sad news. I haven't seen Wayne since the day I resigned from the airline back in 2003. I loved working with Wayne, he was always positive and he ALWAYS kept me laughing. Just a SUPER, all-around great guy! Wayne, losing you is felt from far away, my brother. Rest in peace.
Wayne was a AMAZING: Man, Father, Son and Friend. I wish I would of been able to meet his Daughter, Mom and sister (with the 2 sons)! I met him at Lake Wylie, he was with his co worker Scott back in 2008, the good old boat days. Wayne became a like a son to my mom and a family member to my family and a very close friend to me! We had lots fun hanging out in South Park or just going out to a lake near by, even when he work the Christmas tree store on Park Rd we would just sit around talking about life. Wayne was so giving and kind to everyone. He truly will be missed every day! Wish I had of jumped on the back of the bike the last time he came out to a family dinner. Wayne you will always be in my heart.
What can I say about my special cousin? I will always remember Auntie Mary letting my Dad and Mom take care of you for 1 special week when I was 8 years old. You stole a piece of our family's heart. You were so adorable and sweet. Uncle Hank always loved you "as Big as the Sky". We have all lost a special person -- you truly have left a huge hole in everyone's heart. Uncle Hank is waiting to continue to tease and love you in the afterlife.
Rest in piece sweet cousin!
Love you always,
Cousins Debbie, Jared and Audra
I would like to offer my condolences to the family. Nothing can prepare us for the loss of a loved one. I would like to offer comforting words to the family from the Bible. At 2 Corinthians 1:3, 4 the Bible tells us that God is the God of all comfort, and he comforts us in all of our tribulations, so we in turn can comfort others. At Revelation 21:4 he tells us that he is going to wipe away all the tears from our eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning, nor outcry be anymore. These scriptures shows that Jehovah (God's personal name) recognizes the pain that death causes and he wants to and will wipe away death and sickness.
My heart truly goes out to ALL of Wayne's family and friends!!!
I had the honor to work with him in the early 2000's when he was a Utility employee. And again since 2013 when I came to work in Stores.
I can honestly say "I don't think I have EVER met a nicer person". Always with a ready smile.
The job he left can be filled... BUT... the brightness Wayne brought with him can NEVER be replaced!!
Prayers of comfort for you all during this difficult time...
God Bless,
Sherry Scott
