Wayne Alan Noyes' Obituary
Mr. Wayne Alan Noyes, 82, of Huntersville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 13, 2025.
A native of Woburn, Massachusetts, Wayne spent much of his life moving with his family due to his career, ultimately settling in Huntersville. He was a longtime member of Huntersville United Methodist Church. Wayne had a passion for racing and enjoyed traveling, as well as spending quality time with his wife, three daughters, six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and his two beloved dogs, Roxie and Gigi. Earlier in life, Wayne was also a member of the Masons and High Priest of St. Paul Royal Arch Chapter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Warren F. Noyes and Helen Buckler Noyes, and his grandson, Zachary Alan Eubanks.
Wayne is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Dora Hanks Noyes; their children, Laurie Noyes Miller (Bill) of Indian Trail, NC, Debra Noyes Bralley (Chris) of Huntersville, NC, and Melanie Noyes Bhambri (Rishi) of Clemmons, NC; brother, Warren Noyes of Gilford, NH, sister, Marilyn Noyes Rossi (Peter) of Kingston, MA, grandchildren, Heather Sholar Dailey (Adam), Josh Bralley (Aviana), Abigail Miller Tilley (Nick), Madelyn Bhambri Wierzbicki (Jack), and Nate Bhambri; and great-grandchildren, Elijah, Finn, and Savannah Dailey and Charlotte and Eloise Bralley.
Wayne was a graduate of Boston University, class of 1965 with a degree in Production Management. Wayne’s career began in Medford, Massachusetts, with Container Corporation of America, where he served as a maintenance superintendent. Over the years, his career took him to several locations, earning him promotions along the way, including 25 years as a plant manager at Gulf States Paper Corporation in Conover, NC.
A true motorsports enthusiast, Wayne’s passion for racing extended to his personal life where he was an accomplished go-kart racer which later led to him launching his own motorsports venture with his grandsons, sharing his love of speed with the next generation.
A celebration of Wayne’s life will be held on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Huntersville United Methodist Church, located at 14005 Stumptown Road, Huntersville, NC.
