Wesley Griffin's Obituary
Wesley Shawn Griffin, 50 of Huntersville died October 16, 2019 at his home. He was born on June 2, 1969 in Mecklenburg County to Gail Wallace Griffin and the late Randy James Griffin.
Wes graduated from Independence High School in 1987. Wes earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business from Western Carolina University. Wes worked with his family business, Carolina Foundry, Inc. as a General Manager. Wes was an avid sports fan – he has been a UNC Tarheel fan since he was a kid and also followed the Atlanta Braves and the Carolina Panthers. Wes was also a huge NASCAR fan - especially Darrell Waltrip and Dale Earnhardt. Wes enjoyed cooking, especially cooking on his grills.
Survivors include his wife Christian Whitlow Griffin; daughters, Madison Kate Griffin and Kennedy Ruth Griffin; brother Chad and wife Misty and their children Neil and Alaina; mother, Gail and grandmother, Univee Wallace.

The funeral service will be held at 3 PM Sunday, October 20 in the chapel of James Funeral Home. Visitation will be 2-3 PM prior. Burial will follow at Northlake Memorial Gardens.
