William L. Othling,'s Obituary
Mr. William “Bill” L. Othling, Jr., 81, of Cornelius, passed away Monday, October 19, 2015 at his home.
Mr. Othling was a native of Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of William Lloyd Othling, Sr. and Edna Peppercorn Othling. Mr. Othling was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church. He was a retired colonel for the U.S. Air Force serving as an engineer.
Mr. Othling is survived by his wife of 57 years, Helen Mary Othling, sons, Stephen Othling (Terri) of Albuquerque, NM, David Othling (Donya) of Geismar, LA, daughter, Claire St. Onge (Jerry) of Charlotte, 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 30, 2015 at St. Mark Catholic Church, Huntersville with full military honors. All are invited to a reception/visitation after the funeral service to be held at James Funeral Home of Huntersville, with the Committal service to follow at Northlake Memorial Gardens.
