William "Butch" Cato's Obituary
William Ewart “Butch” Cato, 72 of Huntersville died March 3, 2022 following a stroke. He was born on April 18, 1949 in Mecklenburg County to the late William and Mary Cato. He served as a deacon and on the cemetery committee at Huntersville A.R.P. Church.
Survivors include his wife Shelia; son, Scott and wife Ginger; daughter, Mary Beth Weaver and husband Jack; and grandchildren, Noah, Will, Luke and Matt, all of Huntersville.
Memorials may be made to Huntersville A.R.P. Church Cemetery Fund, PO BOX 316 Huntersville, NC 28070.
The funeral service will be 2 PM Sunday, March 6 at Huntersville A.R.P. Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will follow the burial.
