William "Buddy" Griffitts' Obituary
William D. "Buddy" Griffitts, 69, of Hickory, NC, formally of Saltville, VA, passed away on April 27, 2021 at Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory, NC.
He was born on October 1, 1951 in Broadford, VA and was the son of the late James William Griffitts and Frances Garnett Taylor Griffitts. He was a long time resident of Saltville, VA before moving to Hickory, NC.
He was a retired construction worker and loved being in the outdoors hunting and fishing. He is survived by a brother, Irvin Griffitts and wife Becky of Glade Spring, VA; four sisters, Emogene Elmore of Glade Spring, VA, Lois Gregory of Chilhowie, VA, Brenda Frye and husband Blake of Saltville, VA, and Donna Hanshew of Glade Spring, VA.
His family also includes his faithful and special chihuahua dog "Tony". Services for Buddy will be at a future date.
