William Lewis McKee's Obituary
William Lewis McKee II, age 68, departed this life on March 11, 2012.
Born June 19, 1943, in Charlotte, he grew up in Concord and Lake Lure, where his family owned and operated the Lake Lure Inn. He spent many years in Jamestown, NC, with his final years in Charlotte, where his sons cared for him after a serious stroke in 2005.
He will always be remembered for his big heart and a smile which brightened our lives. So long, Captain--sail away home!
