William Miller's Obituary
William "Chip" Byron Miller, 71, of Huntersville died July 31, 2013 at Levine and Dickson Hospice House. He was born on February 23, 1942 in Floyd County, GA to the late William and Helen Kirkpatrick Miller. He had a longtime career in computer programming in the Charlotte area with various companies. He had a passion for cooking and was particularly known for his bread making. He loved sailing and had a unique sense of humor with a strong appreciation of irony.
Survivors include his wife Diana Swartz Miller; daughters, Shannon Ward and husband Tim of Huntersville, Jennifer White and husband Ryan of Huntersville, Pam Ray of Mooresville, Shannon Zenner and husband Craig of Cornelius; brothers, George, Chuck, Houston and Jim; and grandchildren, Thomas, Nathan, Audrey, Lea, Austin, Glynis, Jay, Grady, Mason and Alexa.
All are invited for a memorial service followed by a reception Saturday, August 10, 2013, at 1:00PM located at Meadowlake Presbyterian Church in Huntersville.
