Bill had a quick wit, sense of humor and loved storytelling about his youth especially to the grandchildren. Bill could many times be found watching NCIS, Nascar racing and football. Spending time at their Florida get-away home, sitting around the pool and viewing the beautiful sunsets was a great love of his. He was known to do a final cannon ball into the pool before leaving to head back to NC regardless of the weather.
Bill traveled extensively with his work both at home and abroad. He often said when upon his return from an overseas flight, the first thing he would do is get a hot dog and cold beer claiming there is nowhere as good as the USA and he was so glad to be home to this great country!
