William Nipper's Obituary
William “Bill” Nipper, 76, of Huntersville went to be with his Lord and Savior on December 29, 2019. He was born August 18, 1943 in Birmingham, AL to the late James and Billie Nipper.
He served in the US Air Force and was a Vietnam Veteran. He enjoyed being around family and friends. He also enjoyed following college football, especially the Crimson Tide! His greatest enjoyment was pitching fast pitch softball, which he played for at least 35 years.
He is survived by his wife Emily; sons, William and wife Shannon, Edwin and wife Laurin and Britt and wife Emily; grandchildren, Shelby, Sarah, Cole, Gavin, Reece and Olivia.
Memorials may be made in lieu of flowers to the American Heart Association.
The funeral service will be held at 11 AM Thursday, January 2, 2020 at Hickory Grove-Mallard Creek Campus. Visitation will be 10-11 AM prior to the service. Burial will follow with military honors at 1 PM at Salisbury National Cemetery.
