William "Craig" Waters' Obituary
William “Craig” Waters, 59 , of Huntersville NC passed away Wednesday April 23,2025 after living with ALS.
Craig was born in Roanoke Va on January 31, 1966. Craig graduated from Cave Spring High School in 1984. While there he was a 4-year Letterman on the Cross Country Team. After High School Graduation, Craig Attended Fork Union Military Academy in the Post Graduate Program. Craig Moved to Florida and was very proud to have worked for Saturn Car Company as well as Steak and Ale restaurants.
In 1996 Craig Moved to the Huntersville area. Craig attended Central Piedmont Community College where he would receive his Education to become a Licensed Real Estate Appraiser. Craig enjoyed his successful career for 25 years.
It would be in 1998 that Craig met the love of his life, Cyndi. They were married May 5, 2000. In 2006, Craig’s pride and Joy, Victoria was born. Craig was an amazing father and husband. Craig was so verry proud of being a leader on the Parking Team at Elevation Church Lake Norman for 10 years. Craig was an avid sports fan, and his favorite teams were the UNC Tarheels, The Atlanta Braves, the Carolina Panthers and Dale Earnhardt Senior.
Craig was preceded in Death by his Maternal Grandparents Robert and Metta Glaspey and his Paternal Grandparents John and Frances Waters Jr and his father William Griffin Waters and Uncle and Aunt John and Saly Waters.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years Cynthia “Cyndi” Ruth Waters and his Beloved daughter Victoria Grace. Also surviving are his Mother Donna Glaspey Waters: Uncle and Aunt Bobby and Dale Waters, Uncle Dicky Waters: Sister Catherine Stanley (Shawn) Brothers: David Waters (Will Cooke) and Mark Waters. Nephews Griffin Stanley (Paige), Cody Sowder (Rachel), Nelson Stanley, Trevor, Carson and Garrett Waters: Cousins Liesl McClain, John Waters, Todd Waters, Parker Waters, Mary Beth Neckowitz and Richard Waters.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 pm on Saturday May 3 at James Funeral Home of Huntersville. Please wear any Jersey or T-shirt you may have of his favorite teams.
