Zachary Williams' Obituary
Zachary James Williams, known to many as Zach or Z-Willy, was a beloved son, brother, father, and friend who brought joy and warmth with his captivating smile and gentle demeanor. Born on May 10, 1990, in Indianapolis, Indiana, Zach was a spirited, passionate, and dedicated individual. On March 10, 2025, at the age of 34, Zach left this world, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of love and kindness.
As an accomplished mechanic, Zach's skills and expertise earned him the admiration of many, and his commitment to his craft set an example for his peers. Zach loved the Boston Celtics and Notre Dame football. His younger years were filled with a passion for baseball, and later, his role as a varsity basketball point guard showcased his athleticism and team spirit at North Lincoln High School.
One of his proudest accomplishments was his dedication to being a father to his two daughters, Chloe and Zoey Williams, whom he loved without reservation. His natural ability to connect with others left a lasting impression on everyone he met, engaging with both ease and sincerity.
Zach is survived by his parents, James M. Williams Jr. and Susan Williams; his brother, Jacob Williams; his grandmother, Joyce Williams; and, most importantly, his daughters, Chloe and Zoey. He now joins his late grandparents, Billy and Hazel Tucker, in eternal rest.
Zach's life will be celebrated at the James Funeral Home, 10520 Arahova Dr, Huntersville, NC, on Saturday, March 15, at 10 a.m. Family and friends are invited to join in the remembrance.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Carolina Center for Recovery, located at 7349 Statevilles Road, Charlotte, NC 28269.
