Brenda Margerum Hauk, 61, of Charlotte died October 18, 2015 at Novant Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, NC. She was born in Middletown, OH on September 7, 1954 to the late Robert and Bethel Rae Margerum. She was a member of As Read Obituary
Brenda you touched so many lives with your beautiful and loving heart. I am going to miss your positive and uplifting presence but know your legacy will live on through all of us who you have touched so deeply. May you rest in peace and heaven just gained an angel with a beautiful smile. Prayers for your family and loved ones.

To the family: I have had the honor of knowing Brenda through our work at Wells Fargo. As all have stated in their messages, Brenda had a huge and caring heart. She had an inviting spirit as soon as you met her. I've witnessed her take a situation filled with chaos and make it calm through her caring and servant leadership style. I have also had the honor to engage with Brenda about her faith and our spiritual journey. Brenda a true believer and faithful servant. She has earned her angel wings and now sits on high with our Lord. I celebrate with you a life well lived. My sister Brenda is healed and enjoying the kingdom of heaven. May her sweet memories fill your heart forever.

What can I say about Brenda? Not enough words apparently.
I have had the pleasure to work with Brenda back into our days as First Union when she was a Corporate Manager out of Jacksonville. I have had the immense pleasure of watching her come through some difficult circumstances in her life and every time would rise above it with a smile and her eyes on things not temporal. It was very evident that she had a personal relationship with our Lord and it showed in every manner of her being.
When I heard that we would be closing our Jacksonville call center my heart broke for all involved but I felt a deep burden for Brenda. When she called and told me that she had received an offer in Charlotte we both laughed and wept together.
Brenda is a much loved lady and has had an impact on many, many lives. I am blessed to have been able to know her during our short time here and I am confident that we will indeed be with each other again.

Rest in Peace Brenda. I knew you for years in Jacksonville Florida. Many ups and downs which is what life is. I am very sad to hear of your passing and I pray that you are with the Lord. You deserve rest and the life that the bible promises after death. I am very sad to hear of your passing.

I think everyone who knew Brenda will remember her huge smile, caring and positive attitude, and wonderful hugs. While I wasn't able to see her often, I loved hearing her voice and I sought her out for a hug and check in every time I was in Charlotte. I learned so much from her ... even things about flying squirrels ... and those memories make me smile. While the world lost one of its best, heaven gained a treasure. I'm glad that Brenda is once again able to be with her husband. God's blessings to Brenda's family.
