Bret’s kids missing him
Some of the best memories that I have with Bret are staying up late and talking and laughing. I was always amazed at how knowledgeable he was in so many different topics.
Bret was one of the strongest, most determined and courageous person I have ever known.
He was a family man, an amazing husband, father, son, brother, nephew and uncle.
He will be deeply missed by so many.
I love you Bret, now and forever and I will always carry you in my heart 💜

For Sarah and her family in this time of bereavement. I have went back and forth trying to come up with the proper wording to extend my condolences. The fact is, there are no proper words to extend; that would remove the pain of loss you are experiencing at this moment. I read the description of who your husband was as a person and the great impact he left behind on everyone that knew him. I didn’t want to focus on his passing, I would like to focus on his victories instead. As a believer of God, I admire and discern the light within a good person. Especially one that devoted his life to inspiring, teaching, leading and loving his family as much as your husband has done. A great man like that, could only be complimented by a great woman by his side. That’s why he chose you Sarah. You are such a remarkable woman (with great resilience, intelligence, strength, wisdom and courage) and he dedicated his last breath to you and your family. For that alone is one of the greatest victories anyone could ever aspire to achieve in this lifetime. I’ve learned that it doesn’t matter the timespan of the beginning or the end of a life cycle. What matters most, is the journey in-between those two time-lines. That journey may have come with the basic challenges life brings, nevertheless, you and him continued to walk that path together hand in hand. I know your husband would want you to know that this isn’t the end for you and him. He will always be alive in the eyes of your son and his essence is engraved in your spirit. Rest assured he will always be with you. I pray these words bring you and your family comfort.
May God bless and strengthen you all during this time.
Romans 8:38-39
“For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God.

Bret was an amazing baseball coach. He coached our son, Matthew and his precious son, little Bret. He was patient, kind, and so much fun. He always had a great, big smile on his face cheering on the boys. The boys loved Coach Bret, and the parents loved him too. He’s the coach you dream about when your son is first learning a sport. He instilled the love of baseball in Matthew and in all of the kids. I will forever remember how caring and kind he was to our son, and how he helped lead the team to be Little League Champions. Even if the team had never won a game, Bret still made a lasting and positive difference in the life of our son, Matthew. Bret was a fantastic person, coach, husband, father, and friend. His healing has come, and it’s not goodbye, it’s see you soon, Bret. We love you, Bret and your family very much. Love and prayers for the peace of God to comfort you, Sarah, little Bret and your family. With love and prayers for strength and peace at such a difficult time, we are here for you always. Love, the Marin family
Our Deepest Condolences from everyone here at BO, we are sending our love and thoughts to the family.
