To all of Gene's family, we will all miss Gene. He was one of the kindest men I've ever known and I have enjoyed knowing him for many years at Oak Grove. Lots of good memories! Was sorry I couldn't attend the memorial service but was able to watch it online later. Beautiful service and Beverly, your words were beautiful...and so true. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are still with the family and I pray that Joanne's health and Raymond's health will improve. "Mason" as he was called by his working buddies with SBT worked with my Dad, John Gladden, for quite a few years. He also helped build John's house on John Gladden Rd.
Dad thought so much of him and I think he was instrumental in getting us our famous peacock, Pete. I am sorry for your loss and pray for your comfort during this time. My brother-in-law, Hoyt Johnston sends his sympathies also. He also worked with Mason.
