Carolyn, we are going to miss your laugh and your crazy stories. We always loved hearing what you were up to and spending time being silly together. You made Tara's birthday in January 2025 such a great experience. The event wouldn't have been the same without you. I am so glad we got to know you, and love you, for more than 25 years. When it comes to you, and the memory of your smiling face, we'll never be all out of love.

How do I possibly describe Carolyn
My hisband called her “an Angel” the day he met her he nailed it Carolyn was an angel that came to earth to live among us for too short a time
She literally had a light that shone brightly around her, some may call it an aura, call it what you will, I just know she radiated and sparkled and it was visible
She was a loyal and true friend with a smile and laugh that was contagious - dang she brightened a room
She could talk me off the ledge, and make me laugh until a bathroom break was required We sang, danced, and cried together but we laughed most of all
She could quote the best lines from 2 1/2 Men, Frazier and Friends, sing the school song from Andy Griffin, and loved watching Perry Mason(he kinda looked a lot like Ed)
She called me to quote the latest quip from Senator John Kennedy almost daily and appreciated anyone’s ability to make another smile She had wisdom and warmth and Barry a day went by that we didn’t talk and plan another overnight hang out

Her family adored her, and rightfully so
The world is less bright with her passing and I’m not sure how any of us will adjust I just know we were really blessed, we had an Angel among us and for that I thank God, and I shall miss her terribly… but Bailey will be my reminder of Carolyn’s joyful spirit everytime I look into those soulful brown eyes - where I swear I can see a sparkle of blue I love you Carolyn Thank you for being in my life and making me a part of yours

Mimi you were such an amazing grandmother. You radiated happiness and joy. You were always smiling and laughing. You were determined and strong and you taught me a lot. I will never forget our Skip-Bo game nights that involved lots of music, singing, dancing, and of course some healthy competition! You get to be with Paw Paw now and I know that you and Paw Paw are watching over us. I love you and miss you.

To know you was to know: you would always have that beautiful smile on; laughing your infectious laugh; out of nowhere start singing; a listener; a story for every occasion or TV commercial (LOL); you dated a Duke quarterback; you loved Amber and April and took great pride in the women they are today; slightly worse billiards player than April; true friend; smart, so smart and so strong. Loved we could talk about any topic and will miss those many moments with you.
You leave a huge hole in our lives, but I am better for knowing you and having the time I did with you. Wish we could have all done one more Turks trip.
