Carolyn Hinds Galloway's Obituary
Carolyn Hinds Galloway, age 73, of Mooresville, NC passed away peacefully on Friday, February 27, 2026, while in the care of Atrium Health Medical Center of Charlotte, surrounded by her family. Carolyn was born on December 29, 1952 in Mercer PA, to Charles and Helen (Black) Hinds and was married to Edwin Galloway. They shared a beautiful love for 17 years.
Carolyn moved to North Carolina in 1963 and graduated from Myers Park High School. She went on to pursue a career in banking, but her true passion and second career was interior design.
Her beautiful voice, smile, infectious laugh and her creativity made her who she was.
Carolyn was selfless and always put others first. Her life was centered around her faith, family, friends and her beloved dog, Bailey. She was a loving wife, sister, daughter, mom, grandmother (Mimi), and friend.
Carolyn was predeceased by her parents and her husband, Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Amber Copple (Doug) and April Holland (Brian), her bother Ron Hinds, her sister Terry Nordland and her grandchildren Anna, Jillian, Jacob, Sophie, Ava and Luke.
A Celebration of Carolyn's life will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at 10:00 AM, followed by a reception through noon at James Funeral Home, 10520 Arahova Dr. Huntersville, NC 28078.
