I wanted to express my thoughts for your family to find peace, comfort, and be surrounded with loving family at this time of such grief. We all have walked this road, and there is no way to prepare for such a loss, which is why the bible gave me and still does so much comfort. Jesus made it so very clear, giving us much hope in John 5:28,29 where he said there would be a call and all those in the memorial tombs would come out, and live again. He even demonstrated it while he was on earth with us, resurrecting Lazarus, and others. Death was never meant to happen to us, clearly indicated in the scriptures by such scriptures as 1 Corinthians 15:26....where it is recorded for us that "as the last enemy, death will be brought to nothing".
My mother too served others all her life as a nurse, mom of 7, and advocate for anyone who had been mistreated. Cookie reminds me of her, in her ability to overcome, and persevere, and still be joyful, and enjoy life without bitterness. What a fine example she set for all in her family.....and while I know you all miss her greatly, as "the rock", of the family, as a group you all will be bound together in love by all the wonderful memories she has provided you all. May Jehovah God, " the God of all comfort" walk with you in the coming weeks and years, providing you all with the strength and guidance you need.
Please know that we hold your family in our prayers. Virginia was a very special
friend of our family. May God's grace continue to give you comfort.
