He was surrounded by his family and friends whose support he appreciated and will be forever grateful. Carroll was a sports enthusiast and enjoyed playing golf and tennis, walking and riding his bike. He bled red and black for the University of Georgia and looked forward to Saturdays in the fall cheering on the ‘Dawgs’ with friends on the back porch. Carroll loved hitting the slopes with his friends during the winter and spending long summer days boating on the lake and watching the sunset. Carroll had a passion for traveling and was constantly seeking out new adventures and places to explore.
Carroll was deeply committed to his recovery and faith. He was a friend and an inspiration to many. He was a humble person with a servant’s heart, a huge fighting spirit, and a zest for life.
