Dearest Doris Sims and family, I want you to know that David Sims was a life long friend. I have lived away, but did try to visit while home. I loved "picking" at David, and he was very good with his sense of humor. I know David is now in Heaven; I know this because he told me where he was going. To let you know, I look forward to seeing David again up there. He was a "light" to me, and will always be that "light" in my thoughts. Rob's and my prayers will be with you all. To the entire Sims family, Gene and I truly thought the world of David. He was always so kind and pleasant to be around. His attitude was amazing considering the hand he was dealt. I know he is walking with his dad and enjoying the freedom that he lost so long ago. We will miss him and we pray that God will bring all of you comfort in knowing that he is in a much better place. He will be truly missed.
