I'm sorry we lost contact after everything. I know your heart just took you in another direction, and that's okay. You were a good friend to me through high school and after high school. I remember you'd come hang out with me at my lake house and we'd get McDonald's and just hang out. I'll never forget when you tried to teach me how to play Magic and drive a stick shift. I was horrible and I never got the hang of either of these things, but it was time that I got to spend with you so it doesn't matter. You're gone far too soon, but I know I'll see you again one day. To the family of Devin, and to those who loved him, please accept my deepest sympathies for your loss. I've known Devin for nearly 18 years. He was my Brother in law James Small's best friend and he was often over when I would visit my wife's family. I got to know him over those years, though admittedly not as well as I would have liked. He was always such a cool guy, he always knew how to make me laugh. I know it sounds odd, but he would always joke around and play with my beard just to get me laughing, you would have had to be there to know, one of those things that's hard to describe online. Just thinking it about it now puts a smile on my face and makes me chuckle. I will always be able to look back at those goofy moments and smile. He will be missed more than these words can describe. He is, was, and will always be in my heart and thoughts.

Devin was one of those people who you see and.. it's just always great. Every time he came into the shop was a good time.
No matter my mood, he could always say something to make me smile. I have so many good memories of hanging around between rounds, hearing about and working on decks together.
My heart goes out to all his family and friends. He will be missed always.
