I never had the privilege of knowing Don, but I’ve known his mother, my Cousin Maggie, since we were both young. Having seen all the memorable pictures of Don and the family, I know love was at the center of your lives together. In reading his obituary, my heart was deeply touched by the words, “Don was a God-Loving Christian Man.” Life is short and fragile, regardless of the length of our years on earth. But to love God as a Christian moves us into the realm of God’s love and care for us beyond this world. Once we give our hearts to Christ, we’re eternally His, and Heaven is our Forever Home with our Savior…every tear wiped away and no more death! My love and prayers are continually with Maggie, Jim, and the brothers. God is faithful and His comfort is always near to us.

My memories of Don always bring a smile to my face. Don knew how to have fun and enjoy life’s moments. I never knew what Don would do when we were all together and that was fun and sometimes hilarious.

Don is definitely a one of a kind man.You will Always have a Huge and Special place in my Heart.Don an I shared so many Adventures, good times, laughter sadness and tears together. But the most Precious of it all was the Love we shared.Only the Lord up above, Don and I understood that Love. It's a comfort to know that you're free now to fly with the Angels and have the Serenity that you strived for and deserved.
