Don and Tina were among the first we met when Sarah and I moved to Antiquity... we shall miss you at Guys Night Out, Godspeed my friend.

Donald was a wonderful man. Almost fifty years of love and memories are mine to cherish of my brother-in-law. Donald was a kind, caring man with a great sense of humor. During our last phone conversation on Sunday he asked about my children and grandchildren and joked with me as he usually did. His love for the Lord was obvious when you talked with him. He loved his country and his family. I am at peace knowing he is now a citizen of heaven where the Lord Jesus Christ lives and I will see him again.
I miss you already Don and the lively political discussions that we enjoyed at Bob Evans breakfast restaurant. We helped you move and I still have your Super C Farmall and the tires are still flat. You have been a mentor of sorts to me even though I am a year older than you. You clearly have taught us all how to live by your good example.

We will miss our dear friend and neighbor Don. He was a kind and gentle man who loved his wife Tina and dog Duke dearly. Susan and Pat
Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth
And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;
Sunward I’ve climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth
Of sun-split clouds, – and done a hundred things
You have not dreamed of – wheeled and soared and swung
High in the sunlit silence. Hov’ring there,
I’ve chased the shouting wind along, and flung
My eager craft through footless halls of air…
Up, up the long, delirious burning blue
I’ve topped the wind-swept heights with easy grace
Where never lark, or ever eagle flew –
And, while with silent, lifting mind I’ve trod
The high untrespassed sanctity of space,
Put out my hand, and touched the face of God.

We remember so well when we visited with Tina and Don many years ago, (I think it was 2002) . We had a lovely visit and felt very welcomed for a last minute visit. We will always cherish those memories. Our prayers go out to the family and Tina especially to you. I remember you as a little girl on the farm in Scarborough. We loved your Mom and Dad and know this is a very difficult time for you. May your memories of Don and your family support you. OB and I both send our love.
