I just recently came across a picture of ‘Geva’ and only now learned of her passing. I’ll forever have fond memories of this dear lady. ‘Geva’ cared for my two oldest children. We were so very thankful for the comfort she provided - just knowing that our children were loved and well cared for while they were with her. She and I met because I read an article about her amazing in home childcare - which appeared in the local newspaper. Elgeva was spiritual...and truly a gift from God
It is with great sadness that we just learned of Elgeva's Homegoing last September.
She was a kind, generous, and beautiful soul who loved and cared deeply for everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Although we grieve and greatly miss her, we take comfort in the knowledge that she is now with Jesus, Whom she loved deeply and had placed her unconditional trust in for her Eternal Salvation.
We will miss her beautiful smile, but look forward to one day seeing her again. Our prayers for God's comfort and peace are with her family.

I’m so sad that I am just now learning about the death of “Geva” , as I lovingly called her. I have wonderful videos of her dancing with her son at our last Garinger reunion,class of ‘61. She had so much fun, and I’m so grateful that I captured all that joy on video. Will miss you...until we meet again. 🙌
Elgeva was a great friend and neighbor of ours for 22 years.we loved and cared about her very much. She will be missed and we will think of her often. Our condolences to the Hutto family. lorraine and Gary
Words cannot express the joy that Elgeva brought to my life. On the days that she was feeling well she would tell me about her life growing up. I wish I had known her back then from what I hear she was a fire cracker. She was a very thoughtful and generous person and love the Lord. She never asked why me and told me she wasn’t scared. I will miss her terribly and there will always be a hole in my heart. Until we meet again, I love you.
Thinking of all of you. I have many good memories with her when I had yard sales . She loved her family. She was a Godly woman. I love the book of poetry she gave me.

She loved the Lord! She was the kindest most giving person I’ve ever met. I called her Mom from the beginning because she made me feel like a daughter. I know she loved her family so much and longed to be in their presence. She was truly one of a kind. Rest on high Elgeva. ♥️
Elgeva was a beautiful woman of God. I was blessed to have her as a special cousin. Years ago she wanted me to have a framed picture of her, Hoyle and Uncle Heath at Easter, and I have it beside my bed sitting atop her books of poetry. She has left a beautiful legacy in her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren .She is now home with her Lord and Savior and she will be greatly missed.
