I never go past your mom's house on Cool Mist Lane without thinking of her. In my mind, that house will always be "Emily's house." She was a wonderful Christian and strong witness for Jesus. Bet she's having a wonderful time in heaven. I am looking forward to seeing her again.
I first had the pleasure of meeting Emily when her son, David, married my sister, Vicki. She impressed me as a very kind, very knowledgeable and well-read person, and as a very good listener. I’m sure she was a wonderful teacher! My husband, Bob, and I send our heartfelt condolences to Emily’s family. I hope they are consoled by the knowledge that she lived a very long and happy life, due in no small part to her loving family. She will be missed.

I remember when I would take care of Ms. Emily and Martha Ann was there trying to get her to drink she would give her that school teacher look. I thought that was so funny. Jennifer Hill
