I met Gary when he was a young man. He truly loved Susan and that love and tenderness never changed. Gary was also a wonderful dad and grandpa. He will be truly missed by everyone who knew him. Love and prayers to my cousin Susan and his children and grandchildren. Love, Linda

I could not have had a better brother. He was all everyone has posted - kind, generous, caring & loving, and devoted to his family. He was an artist in his chosen profession of carpentry and woodwork carrying on the tradition of the Beckley Builders, our father William and grandfather Lawrence.
I count myself very lucky to have had such a great childhood and lifetime of experiences and history shared with our cousins and extended family. Wonderful memories. Gary, ♥️ I love you forever...

Dear Sue, Aimee, Brian, Nate, Allen, Dee, Quinn, and Gail,
I thought Gary was a really kind and all-around wonderful guy. I am so glad he was my cousin. I have always felt that we Beckley cousins forged an unbreakable bond in our childhood that transcended time and distance. I cherish the memories of visits in Absecon and at the Farm. Of fishing, and barbecues, and card playing, and walks in the woods, and good times in the house on the creek that his Dad built. Of that epic trip to Prince Edward Island! And the time Gary and his Dad reroofed the house at the farm. It all seems like just yesterday. I shall miss exchanging now-and-then emails with Gary, some on the ancestry. I will also miss just knowing he was there in NC, enjoying his family. Sending all my love
