George Murrow of Mooresville died August 28, 2014. He was 28 years old. Growing up, George was a Boy Scout in Troop 173 and played soccer. George graduated from Lake Norman High School in 2004. He went on to UNC Chapel Hill where Read Obituary

I know this is a difficult time for your loved ones, but the bible gives us comfort in assuring us that one day sickness, pain and death will no more. (Revelations 21:3-4) The Bible also comforts us in knowing our loved ones are no longer suffering but are in a sleep-like state.(John 11:11-14, 23-26) I hope these scriptures will be encouraging for you and bring you comfort throughout your day.

To the family of George,
I had the pleasure of getting to know George while he was attending school in Chapel Hill. He was a guest in my home while dating my daughter Aimee Morris. My family and I were very fond of George. He was so sweet natured and touched me with his thoughtfulness. I was so surprised when one year he bought me the sound track to Everything is Illuminated. I had told him at some point in time that it was my favorite movie and couldn't believe he had remembered. I can not express how sorry I am for your loss and how privileged I feel to have known George. God bless you in this time of sorrow.
