Norma and I first met Harold and his loving wife Carolyn when they came to Oakland Baptist church in Monroe several years ago. I remember Harold as a quiet man, with much character and love of God. Harold, you will be missed by everyone who knew you for the example you set, the caring you showed and the love of God you shared with everyone. Rest in piece my friend. To the Teague Family our prayers are with you.

I first met Harold at The Charlotte Observer over 25 years ago. He was a quiet thinker and good colleague. Rest in heaven my friend.
Harold and I worked together on the Business Spotlight page at the Charlotte Observer when I was in my mid 20s. We had to call on a lot of very sketchy advertisers...I smile when I think about it now, how sweet Harold —a man quite small in physical stature—was always very protective over me, like a second father. I remember the first time I met Mr. Teague. It was with his beautiful wife at Cynthia’s 6th grade parent conference. He was quiet but so eager to be involved in the education of his children. Over the years our paths crossed again with Sheryl’s parent conference in the 6th grade as well. You could not ask for better parents than Mr. and Mrs.Teague. His girls came first and he was very proud of them. I know the pain is so hard right now, but I hope that the beautiful memories that you treasure will help you through this tough time. My heart is so saddened at the loss of such a precious man. Heaven is much sweeter with the presence of Harold Teague. Harold was always such a pleasant person to be around. He was always so nice to me. I knew Harold for many years, seeing as how Cindy and I became friends in the 2nd grade. I remember being included in family vacations and always being treated as part of the family. Harold was a wonderful man, father and husband. I was blessed to have known him. He will be missed.
