Helen Alling's Obituary
Helen Myers Alling, 84 of Gastonia, formerly of Charlotte, died October 25, 2011 at Gaston Memorial Hospital. She was born on May 5, 1927 in Battle Creek, MI to the late Ronel and Frances Myers.
She is survived by her husband Frankie Lee Alling; son, Kris D. Alling and wife Kathy of Gastonia; daughter, Sydney Elder and husband Dana of Charlotte; siblings Jack L. Myers and Virginia Springhall; grandchildren, Jason, Shawn and Cody; and great-grandchildren Joshua and Caleb.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
A time of food, fellowship and celebration of Helen’s life will be held at 3:00 Saturday, October 28, 2011 at Frank’s home.
