Helen Ramsay Akeley, age 77, of Huntersville, died on Tuesday, January 30, 2018. Helen was born in Edinburgh, Scotland to the late William and Jean Kerr Ramsey. She was the wife of Leon F. Akeley for 62 years. Ellen grew up in Ed Read Obituary
We were deeply saddened to hear of Helen's passing. We both cherish the memories of our KMW Johnson beginnings and family like company atmosphere she was part of. We were both young and just starting out far from home and Helen helped with the transition. We always looked forward to seeing Helen at the company picnic and Christmas parties. Our thoughts and prayers are with Lee.
