Janet was a wonderful person and a good friend. She and Robert along with myself and my husband, Mitch spent many great times together. In the NC Mountains for a Valentines Day weekend, vacationing in Cancun, Mexico or a New Years weekend at our house, we always had a good time making memories where ever we were. For years we all enjoying dancing every weekend in Charlotte. I’m so thankful for all the time we spent together, memories last forever. R.I.P. sweet Janet, you fought a good fight, kept the faith and I’m sure God welcomed you home with the words “well done my good and faithful servant”.
My heart goes out to you Robert and her family. May God give you peace and strength that only he can. She loved you Robert and loved the life you two made together. She especially loved your little mountain home in Maggie Valley. Please know I’m praying for you daily as I did for Janet. If I can help you by listening just give me a call anytime. Janet is the love of my life, she made me complete. I have never loved like I love her.
She always provided me with unconditional love and encouragement and she definitely made our house a home. My heart is broken but I know she is healed and in the arms of the LORD. In her last hours I love you was said more times than I can count with her telling me she loved me also. She is the most beautiful woman I have ever met. She was kind, considerate and a strong woman. I would get my verse of the day from her or sometimes when the Lord would speak to her I was always the beneficiary of that word. My life now will be about what I need to do to live a life like Christ so I see her again. All I’m saying this not goodbye.

Janet was always encouraging and sharing the love of Jesus with everyone around her. She inspired me to pursue the Lord through the Scriptures, gave me prayer books/journals, and was continuously praying for me. No doubt she’s dancing with the Lord right now completely healed.
My favorite memories were some of the last we had at the camper in Maggie Valley. I am so grateful for the love and support that she gave my father for over 30 years. Celebrating your life today…we love you!

Mom was always there if I needed a ride to doctor appointments. Afterwards we would go eat lunch. Then we would go thrift shopping. She enjoyed her shopping. I’m really going to miss you mom. Love you mom
I met Janet a few months ago. In that short amount of time she became a huge part of my life! I loved visiting her and spending time with her. She made me laugh with her sense of humor. She was a beautiful human being. She made a such a difference in my life. I only wish I knew her sooner. She will be missed and loved by so many! I will never forget you Janet! Rest in peace!
